Care must be taken for your moringa oil. It is too precious to be left to spoil after making the moringa oil. Therefore now that you have extracted Moringa oil from the seeds, you have to package them for storage and/or for sale. The following are ways you can package the Moringa oil:

  • Package in clean dry containers: glass, plastic, glazed pottery, stainless steel, galvanized iron, enamel are aluminum containers are good. No copper!
  • Seal against moisture, air and light to protect oil from going rancid. Rancidification, the product of which can be described as rancidity, is the process which causes a substance to become rancid, that is, having a rank, unpleasant smell or taste.
  • Putting oil into Colored containers in a dark box help increases the shelf life of Moringa oil. Shelf life usually 1-5 years if well kept!
